Tiger Teramura is a Spiritual Director and a Coach passionate about helping followers of Jesus no matter where they are on their journey. God has given him a shepherding heart which serves him well in this ancient practice of companioning souls. Tiger received his Spiritual Direction training with Jan Johnson during his master's program in Christian Spiritual Formation & Leadership at Friends University, and received his Spiritual Direction Certification from Portland Seminary.
Tiger also has experience as a biblical counselor and coach, leading believers to The Counselor for healing. As a Coach and Director of Training at Grace Ministries, he guided believers "be transformed by the renewing of their minds." (Rom 12:2) through coaching courses and training programs. He founded Direction Under Grace, LLC to provide a confidential, non-judgmental space for the Body of Christ, a sacred space to intentionally listen to the Holy Spirit within. Tiger is a member of the Grafted Life Ministries (ESDA), and was commissioned by Network220 Association in 2019.
Tiger and his wife grew up in the Washington D.C. metro and are Oakton high school alumni. He married his high school sweetheart at Truro Episcopal (Anglican) Church in Fairfax, VA., and attends McLean Bible Church. They have 3 adult children, 1 teenager, 2 grandsons and 170 lb. English Mastiff, named Winston.
